    ... passed through the jagged Deception Pass, and ended up eating lunch there as well. We arrived to the ferry without a clue what the schedule was and it turned out we arrived 4 minutes before departure to Friday Harbor and that once we landed on the island we would have free access to all the islands via a network of small ferries. The timing was superb as we were able to enjoy the sunset over the water off the bow of the ferry while the islands loomed ...

    ... only two weeks left in the condo. Minakshi came by today to select some large framed pictures for the Employment Centre in White Rock, so we had a chance for a little visit. After that I took the rest of the framed pieces to Value Village and returned to clean the Coleman BBQ that our friend Valerie is taking off our hands.     ... ready for start of our cruise tomorrow. Bit of housekeeping; washing, charging phones, cameras, etc. Stayed in again to eat up nibbles as we leave tomorrow. Listening to Peter's music collection on his iPod, while Cheryl and I catch up on updating our blogs and download photos.

    Getting hungry now so decided to have lunch at China Beach Provincial Park seeing there wasn't a place to park at Jordan River. The volunteer Park ranger was very talkative (there are Donation Boxes on a table with phamplets before you walk to the parks or beaches).
