Day 1, Got up to massive cockroach on the bog paper, we'll miss Lipe but not the accomodation or the wild life! Onto a ferry to Lanta that took 6hrs and at one point got so rough that people nearly went over board, we kid you not. We got soaked but managed not to go for a swim. Met by touts at the pier on Lanta and straight to lovely bungalow, which we haggled for and then got upgraded as it wouldn't lock. A TV!!! No wild life!! Sheets you could sleep in!! We continued island-hopping, heading further south to Ko Lanta. Ko Lanta is bigger than Phi Phi, and much of the island has not yet been developed. Most tourist accommodation is centred around the main pier, on the north of the island. The south is covered in jungle and rubber plantations. The next morning, we took our bags to the pier for the ferry with the aid of a local and a metal cart and boarded our ferry to Koh Lanta.
