Once again, the first thing we did when arriving on Koh Lanta was to shop around with a hard attitude that we wouldn't settle for anything too expensive and/or that wasn't our liking. Koh Lanta is quite a big island, containing many long and beautiful beaches, all very far from each other, and all surrounded by restaurants and bars and resorts... which meant our ...

In the latter fights I started to realize that the fighters pictured on the posters did not resemble the people in front of me - had me wondering. The final championship fight was great with both guys - a Swede and a Czech throwing bombs at each other. Odd and unique experience for me ...

... hated on Phi Phi! After booking an islands boat trip for the next day, Jess, Ellie and I went for a drink as we were being handed flyers for beach parties everywhere. It seemed a lot more lively than when I was here not long ago. The end of November is the start of peak season, it's just a shame the weather doesn't follow the same regime! A quiet bucket of drink turned into drunken pool playing as usual when I'm with Ellie, we were beaten by a couple of guys from New Zealand, ...
