... a lovely day we decided to book in for another night . After the days of 5:30am wake up calls , night drives and late dinners, it was so nice to just have a few days to relax. We were in no hurry to get to Joburg anyway, given the horror stories we've heard about the crime there. I've caught up to the 6th of September, when we complete the driving portion, return our Toyota to Joburg, and head to the lodge where we will begin our AeroSafari.

We are leaving today around 6:20 PM our time. We will be home by tomorrow afternoon. It's been a long journey and we are all pretty exhausted and ready to come home. Hello Family and Friends! We are now in Pretoria. I must say, this has been a very extreme week. I really don't believe that one could travel to Coffee Bay and not be changed. Although extremely breathtaking, with it's steep cliffs and rolling mountains, hugging the Indian ocean, Coffee Bay is poverty stricken. There is very little employment--almost none. Finally, the guy took a few steps away from the car. So I popped up, turned on the ignition and drove Snowflake out of there at a break neck speed. Our time at the private game lodge was great. It was total luxury (except for the food - It was too fancy for us- especially Aaron. Vegetable quiche doesn't cut it for a 14 year old). 3:30 wake up call. We have a morning drive at 4AM. We saw lions, buffalo and got chased by an elephant. Our pictures are coming out great but it's so slow to upload, I'm going to do it later.
