With a bad afternoon forecast we decided to use the morning to play the nine hole Kukuilono golf course, a wonderful little muni on the west side with a $7 green fee and casual feel. We played with two others who (we discovered) were staying in our condo complex and a fun time was had by all. After a beer in the bar we headed back to Poipu to catch the basketball game, stopping ...

... Meg and I sprinted to Budget, and were warmly welcomed with "we don't leave until everyone lands." Lucky for us, West Jet was running two hours behind us! We may have been seven hours late to our condo, but sharing this experience with my family was worth every delay.

On travel days don't expect anyone to look out for your best interests. Sometime you have to be proactive, otherwise you may be left at the gate with a bad ticket. Good luck and safe travels!

... again) as well but unfortunately was only able to get limited footage with the GoPro before the battery went flat (Boooo..) We did 8 lines in all the longest of which was the last one, which took in some great scenery that included a reservoir which we traversed and paddocks full of cows and as it turned out a beautiful rainbow created by some rain clouds which we just escaped in the nick of time. We made it back to base & ...
