... search in the dark. On arriving at Koh Chang you had to get a tuk tuk because you are miles from anything. The ride was crazy and even in the dark you could see how twisty the roads were, winding through the mountains. Lots of people there of course and a good atmosphere ...

... By the time we reached our mini bus, i was dripping with sweat (definitely get that from my Dad). We climbed aboard the bus and headed out of Ko Chang and towards the ferry. It took 15 minutes to get to the ferry and then waited a further 45 minutes for the ferry to actually fire up and leave the port. Isn't it strange how you always get seated next to the weirdest people on these things. Weird looking guys picking at their toe nails and people sitting backwards on their ...

... mangrove and was aptly named 'Mangrove Bungalows'. The accommodation was basic to say the least - we're quickly getting used to living the backpacker lifestyle. The best way to get around the island was by moped, so we hired one for the day - mum(s) and dad(s) we didn't go over 30mph and only Ross drove, so we were perfectly safe! This gave us the opportunity to visit lots of deserted beaches and the small fishing village of Ban Ao Yai, at the very south of the ...
