Tonight is our last supper, our goodbye supper. Our guide Yue will stay behind and fly to Durban where she lives with her South African husband (she's Chinese Mongolian) part of the year when she's not travelling.

We fly Cape Town to Jo'burg, then to Dakar then Washington, then Ottawa. A very long trip....

... days ago, long drive, got lost in a desert-like area with ostriches, zebras and elands all around us. Our reward: watching the sun set over the Indian ocean sitting on amazing sand dunes.

... here is fantastic. The last time, all the houses were tin shacks, whereas now the majority were prefab concrete structures. There are also lots more cars, and even a few satellite dishes. The photo this time looks a bit different!



The road to Montagu takes you through Cogmanskloof Pass, another stunning mountain pass. The colours and the striations of the rocks are incredible. We were a bit early for checking in, so we stopped off at the tourist office ...
