Pittige, mooie en ontspannende weken
... konden we geen wedstrijd bekijken maar de rondleiding door het stadium was verrassend leuk.
En natuurlijk zijn er foto's van dit alles te zien! Kijkt u maar ;-)
Nu zitten we dus op Ishigaki, onze laatste stop in Japan. Woensdag vliegen we naar Hong Kong en daar vandaan vliegen we naar Zuid Afrika. Weer iets heel anders en we hebben er heel veel zin in.

Ishigaki ("Downtown" wie sie es hier nennen) ist eine faszinierende Mischung aus Markt, coolen Bars und Restaurants aller Gattung. Sogar an einer Flamencoschule sind wir vorbeigekommen; leider konnten wir die japanischen Señores und Señoritas nicht sehen, aber das Absatzstakkato tönte jedenfalls authentisch!
Für den ersten Znacht haben wir dann einmal mehr einen Volltreffer gelandet: Ein lokales Restaurant mit Gewusel von Familien, Gruppen ...

... by youtube . now being noon (research takes time people!), i pegged my laundry and headed to a local road to get to a beach suggested by the guest house owner. i wanted to stay close as it looked like it may rain/had to get that laundry dry.
past local graves, turn right at the sugar cane farm and walk down a sketchy looking road..the kind that you don't want to be walking down in the dark. imagine my surprise when i found the road was infested with hand ...

hung out at the beach for a while then walked into town in search of food and a bathroom. ferry terminal (no boats due to wind) satisfied need #2 and the supermarket was well stocked..for a bunch of anorexics. however, i did find chicken, peanuts and chocolate. the staples of all civilization. walking back, i passed what looked to be a shack serving ...
Tropisk eventyr
... Japan, der er tilbage. Det vil sige, at ca. 90% af øen er dækket af bjerge med tæt og ufremkommelig jungle, og der er kun vej og beboelser rundt langs med kysten. Det var virkelig en fantastisk kontrast at opleve for os, som kom med tre tætpakkede japanske storbyer i bagagen.
