... back to Auckland, mainly to apply for our transit visas, when we come back to Perth for one night before flying to Bali. We also had a look around, at Albert Park, the library, the wharf.
We're leaving from Natalie's in a couple of days. We'll take a bus to Whangarei, where we'll pick up our car.

Highlights of NZ so far:
- The strange fact that NZs population is distributed so unevenly between the two islands, with 75% living on the North Island, compared to only 25% on the South Island.
- Outside of the major cities, the towns of New Zealand are extremely odd. No more than the sleepy town of Rotorua being labelled "Roto-Vegas"... Nothing ...
... shower, and bed. Although I did Skype the parents (and the pets) which was lovely.
Unfortunately I did have a very strange room mate in Taupo, luckily there was another girl in my room, who also found him rather odd. I won't go into details on here as I don't know if you maybe eating whilst reading this (Joe Fuller so not finish reading this sentence) all I will say is toe nails.

Today Auckland New Zealand. Arrived about 7.0am, a lot cooler than we have been used to, forecast high of 15 degrees! Nothing planned just going to go ashore and wander round Auckland, thought about the jet boats around the harbour but it says you get wet and the weather forecast said there could be showers later so we didn't fancy getting wet with it being cold, would be something you would do in summer like when we came to New Zealand last time and we went on the jet boat at Huka ...
Bonjour. Yesterday we arrived in Auckland after a nice flight from Sydney. The plane was pretty empty so the service and leg room was very good! We got to Auckland and then got a 45 minute bus to Auckland Central. Auckland is interesting, it is kind of like East London......... but less places to eat.
