Up early today ready for a full days bike ride. No breaky for me, still full from last night, light breaky for Mr S. we are going back to Colle Val D Elsa to have a look at the town and the crystal museum. Ken was wired up to the bike now with duck tape and zip-ties, so we are looking forward to his bike skills. Went to Greve then up to Palzano. Took ken off white roads, to dangerous with the bike. ... looks after travelers, we had by some miracle gotten us to our destination. Things further improved when we walked downstairs to a restaurant and ate what was one of the best pizzas and drank the best chianti we had ever had.
