        ... all for only £10 a night which was even cheaper than ringside. It was the perfect way to end a hectic few days of partying. The hotel also had a private beach which had some great views of the ocean. We checked in and put our bags in the room, tempted to just chill here all day - but we had to explore the island. We rented motorbikes for the day from a local vendor and head out for some lunch at a cafe. Although a bit expensive, it actually served authentic French ...

        ... a lackluster World Invitation XV by 46 points to 10. Not a bad game but I am not convinced that we will do that well against the other top sides this year. Believe me, I wish that I am proven wrong, very wrong, but somehow they do not instill any confidence. I had a Sangsom with Coke during the first half and then… a first for me, a cup of tea during the second half. Don’t ask, I don’t know.

        ... dives and told us we were both great OW divers. It was only around 11:30 and my boat to Koh Phangan wasn't until 3:30 so we headed to the pool for abit then ate some lunch at fizz beach bar.         ... head back to blue hill resort, as there was no one on these beaches. Along the way we picked up a friend...named him Skippy the dog. We walked quite far, and he made sure that we were not far behind. Stopping for a swim a bit of late avo sun, skippy took a liking to me. Eventually he got a bit bored and wandered off.         ... leave. They had decided to go to Koh Lipe which is still in Thailand but on the Andaman coast near Langkawi, Malaysia, where Bryan and I had been just a few months ago. They were catching the night ferry to the mainland so I went down to the jetty to wave them off.

        So now I was here on Paradise all alone. What on earth was I going to do??
