    Up with the birds but still hard to find a parking spot at the Farmers Market. Spotted our French friend and bought some treats for the coming week. Lots of beautiful fruit and veggies and we shouted ourselves breakfast. Late afternoon did Hastings Street, nearly deserted.     ... the day. Today was a little different with Chris heading off for a paddle in the kayak before the winds picked up. There has been so little rain here the water was crystal clear with fish and stingrays easy to make out as the mangroves were navigated. The waterways eventually chopped up making it difficult to navigate the conditions, bringing the paddle to a premature end after just 2 hours on the water. A visit ...

    ... hotel, and get ready for dinner. Dinner is at a restaurant in Noosa. Funny thing they are showing dog racing. Resisting to place a bet we carry on for a great meal. The morning we are up and get picked up by massive monster trucks for the drive to Fraser Island. The size of these things is crazy, plus our driver sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger.     ... to wait to check in, when we finally checked in we headed down to the beach for a little, it was very nice but we was all shattered so decided to go back to hostel and gave a catnap which went down a treat but I woke up sleepier!!     ... uphill via windy roads to a quaint little town, Montville where we had a coffee looking out on a spectacular view towards the Sunshine Coast. Visited lots of gift shops, including a dedicated Christmas shop (hardly surprising when we are staying with the biggest lover of everything Christmas!)
