Ko Chang Island is a beach bum's paradise. The beaches are white, the water crystal clear and warm. The island is completely covered in dense jungle and undulating terrain. Such terrain is not conducive to road building as we found ourselves climbing impossibly steep hills and negotiating hairpin bends.

We'd come across a couple of elephants already, but only from afar on in zoos, so getting to ride on and feed one was pretty special. ... were mangos but delicious they were at the pool. Plus 4 tangerines from the sop half a mile away. The mangos came from a pick-up shop at the entrance of the resort that sold everything.
