... and cooling off and I was on too of the boat sunbathing and snoozing, it was just perfect! We then rode back to the other side of the harbour, where the tuk tuk was waiting to take us to dinner. As always we ended up on our favourite restaurant, Fat Sam's, where we all had a lovely dinner and some drinks before we headed back to the hotel for bed. The adventure fun packed day has well and truly tired us all ...

On my way from Bangkok to Phnom Penh I decided to relax a few days on Koh Chang, the second biggest Island in Thailand after Phuket, to relax and improve my Scouter skills before going to Vietnam and Indonesia. Even though the island is big, it is not comparable to Phuket at all. Mass tourism seems to be starting, but esp. the south of the island is still calm and idyllic in some areas. One of the best things to do on the island was to visit one of the many waterfalls, so we went on the advice of the locals and went to the best one which is called Klong Plu Watefall. It was about a half an hour ride and along the road on the way we saw about five 7/11 convenience shops and just before the waterfall turn off we also saw four large elephants being fed. Finally arriving we parked up and walked ...

So after a few days relaxing on Koh Mak we are back on Koh Chang, this time staying a bit closer to lonely beach (backpacker area). You wonder when you book places online for only 10 a night what they are going to be like, the 1st problem we had was finding it, even the Thai taxi driver who had the address in Thai couldn't find it, this was going to be fun. Anyways the taxi driver dropped us off and we had to start the hunt on our own, where ...
