... was "don't stray from the path!" My final 3 miles turned in to 4.5 miles and I got to the hotel at around 19:00. Soaking wet and sore the only plus point was that I got room 5 and not the haunted room 6 at the Drovers Inn. After a soak in the bath and a quick meal in the bar (plus a Magners), I was in bed and probably asleep by 21:00. The only upside to the long day today was that I had a relatively short 12 miles to do tomorrow. Surly tomorrow can't be any ...

... was it a vision or was it real? it was an honesty shop lest out on the path under a tree. A young girl called Iona was raising money to go out to Chile to teach English over there and needed to raise £5400 to go, WOW. I'm thinking " is he going to stop, I have right of way". He ...

When we got to the chapel and I spotted the organ, I couldn't help myself but to switch it on and Amazing Grace rang throughout the whole building. It brought back memories of my organ playing days during my teen aged years in the Methodist Church. The views from the fort were magnificent. Again take a look when I manage to load the photos. We then rushed off to ...

... so wee so it took a bit longer than we’d thought it would to walk through it. The walk back to the visitor centre (and bus stop) was further then I thought and we realised we would be cutting it very fine to get the bus. Another jog, this time much slower for me, followed and we made it to the stop just before the scheduled time.

Shouldn’t have rushed as the bus eventually came about 15 minutes late. Wish it had been on time ...
