... visibility extremely poor. On top of that, the huge trucks (and there were so many of them!) were going stupidly fast, it was so dangerous!! Thankfully, we made it to Revelstoke in one piece. Quite a sleepy little town at this time of year, with the ski season not due to kick off for another month. ... Seems to be another nice mountain town in the
Okanagan Valley, with splenty of vineyards nearby. Since we got into
the Okanagan valley, the camping has been much warmer than we were
expecting. Apparently this area stays much warmer in the winter, and
the locals get to enjoy a longer growing season for fruits and veggies.
There were plenty of farmer’s markets in the area that were still
selling lots of fresh produce.
