My back is still killing me! I finally had to just leave poor Mike to drive by himself. No navigation this afternoon. Poor guy. I am laying down in the bedroom.

Clearly we are getting a little too engaged with the eiders when I say goodnight to the little family group of mom, 2 aunts and two babies that we watch every day! Puzzle ...
... The eiders were not surprising adept at riding the large waves and diving into them. As much as we watched, the storms turned out to be all clouds and nothing else. If there was thunder we certainly couldn't hear it over the sound of the pounding surf on the rocks...which sounds like thunder itself. The Mosquitos eventually drove us back on the porch to read and do a jigsaw puzzle. Even by midnight, there was still no ...
... at the Visitor Information center to get some maps and see where they did any whale watching tours along the coast. The guy there told us the only place he new of was Booth bay Harbor, so we continued on another 2 hours to there. We got some dinner when we finally made it to the Bay and found a place to get the internet. The place to book a whale watching tour was already closed so we drove back to the supermarket car park and called it a ...
