Lauren has done an incredible job organizing all our documents and has done an incredible job planning our itinerary/travel logistics. ... was craving salad, so got a Greek salad...yum! We went back to our hotel for a rest before our night on the town. Austin is supposed to have great live music venues all over town, so we preferred to do that than wander the city all day. Before we went out the hotel was hosting a free 'evening compliments' hour, where we got free food and wine/beer for 2 hours! This was therefore our dinner and pre-drinks! Nice! ...

... Center at 9:00 AM and things moved along pretty well for the first two hours. They got Kathy registered, moved into her pre-op room, cleaned, gowned, IV'd and drugged. Then we waited. For another four hours. She didn't get taken into the OR until 3:30 PM. So while there was a lot of waiting, at least everyone was nice and caring. She met with the pastor, the nurse, the nurse anesthetist, the anesthesiologist, the surgeon, some other ...
