... We went back to our motel in subdued mood feeling bad we hadn't realised the full extent of what was going on in Christchurch. We knew it wasn't the same though, and normally wouldn't have had 2 days here, but with the bad weather in N.Z, we didn't want to be stuck somewhere else and then miss our flight out to Australia. By now, it was late, and we had to be up early for our bus to Kaikoura. We'll deal with how we spend our time in Christchurch when we get back from hopefully seeing some ...
