Oh the joys of tax...

... park north of Lismore is booked out, jam packed and overflowing. It has been a re-education, as after 2 months of sleeping in a real bed, my body is again protesting the nights on hard ground, and my fingers don't quite know what to do with the cold, but on the up side, I get a spectacular view of the stars at night.

Yesterday I climbed Mount Ngungun, which is a relaxed stroll for about 600m, then a climb up a VERY steep and rock almost-sheer ...

beaches, zoos and kangaroos !

Clare has given me firm instructions to update this thing! not too sure what im doing but not to worry. Its been a hectic few weeks and a pain that cant find an internet cafe with machines that take SD cards from the camera. We have some great pics !- honest Brisbane was just another city, but it had a huge park complete with jungle and beach ! It didnt take long for Max the beach bum to bare all (again) and head straight for the water. He was quite brave and went waist deep which ...

Our Journey in Australia begins!

... a bit freaked out though as it was deserted and it was our first night in the Aussie wilderness) It gets dark here early ( 5:30 as it is technically winter, weird ) and we ended up getting to sleep around 9. Up at 8 and on the road again, heading to the Australia Zoo and the second night somewhere. Still didn't plan in advance and flying by the seat of our pants !! We love and hate it! (but getting used to it, slowly) Love you all, Keir and Kylie

Home to a jungle!

... has meant that our place is very overgrown (hence the jungle reference) and there's some mildew growing in the house, so John threw himself into some brush-cutting, and I tackled the kitchen/bathroom - as soon as we sat down in the early afternoon, jet lag kicked in and we were all asleep for a few hours. To give an overview of the rest of our week in Paris, I've had to sit and concentrate, and download all the photos from Erin's camera, as we did so much and walked so far, it's ...

Noosa and Fraser Island 1-7/12/07

... Unfortunately there were some complications (me being a **** driver being one of them) and i crashed into another van coming off the ferry. Woops! Luckily i drove off quick enough that they didn't get the licence plate number. Just kidding - all was sorted out.... apart from their back door, which couldn't be closed. Fraser was really good. The roads are just soft sand and beach so driving was a nightmare at times. There were some ...

Le Soleil est enfin revenu
