All packed and ready to go by 11.00 a still left a little late. No trouble on the roads and swift service for lunch in the pub so arrived in good time at the parking. Good service as usual and through check in without issue. No question about the skis, boots or hand bags. So I've decided to travel a bit more, learn a bit more and love a lot more. I forgot laugh. Can't travel without laughter. I'm overwhelmed with joy by the fact that I'm about to see one of my best friends I had when I was in Australia. That's the reason why I'm on my way to Wales. Things that's been pretty good ...

Mines and Mountains Tour

... since he was16. He hasnt had the best of luck though, he would work 4 or 5 years in one mine then it would close down. He would go to another mine then anotner 4 years later that mine would close down. This happened 4 times to him. Poor guy, probably jinxed.

We got to wear the hard hat and light on top, with a belt that had a breathing apparatus and some other chunky thing. No photos were allowed because of the remaining methane gas.
