... most driving instructors would fail you for were needed….we were quickly all halted and told off like a bunch of school kids that are on a school trip, silenced and sorry for what we had done. Early to rise this morning as I headed to the North Shore once again after filling up Skippy (my car), to go hiking on the Kalalau Trail along the Napali Coast. Getting there early ensured that I would get a parking spot @ Ke‘e Beach Park. Now hiking on your own ...

Great sleep in my awesome king sized bed at the Waipouli Beach Resort on the east side of Kauai. The condo I have rented is in the town of Kapa’a which will be very central for driving around the island.

It was a quick 10-15 minute drive last night from the airport in my rental car - a Ford Focus. I could not see the surroundings because it was dark. But I know there was an ocean on my right side - just didn’t see it!

      I got some ...
