... Some sun and lots of clouds. Eventually we headed west. First stop was to visit BeBe in Hanapepe and talk about renting her place at Kalaheo next year. Then a stop at a consignment shop in Waimea to visit another friend and give her a dress I had purchased there a few years ago so she can sell it again. Down the street to the Shrimp Station for some coconut shrimp. Next a stop at a beach for Phil to have a short swim and on to PoliHale and the end of ...

... Erika did not have the trouble the rest of us had. This hike was where she first earned her nickname of "Billy Goat." She went so fast it looked like she was hopping up the side of the hill. I regret to say that I was not as fast as she, but I am proud to say that I did make better time than the boys and Erika didn't have to wait TOO long for me at the top.

After our unforgettable visit to Wailua Falls, we were nearly starved and had a couple of hours before ...

... get the eco-friendly biodegradable stuff, but have you ever tried carrying two paper bags full of groceries to the car when it's raining? What did we all make models out of when we were at school? Papier mache. What is it made out of? Paper and water. So what happens to the bags when it rains? They turn to mush and the bottoms fall out! What's wrong with carrier bag? I should have known better and brought some with me. Reminder to self - must go to Walmart where they ...
