Day 201 - Big Island to Maui

... one shop, one small pub and lots of comfortable overstuffed sofas. Though walls exist, I remember few windows. And departures leave from the second story. The shop offers that wonderful collection of island specialties. Kona coffee, pretty Hawaiian dresses, perfumes in all the local flower scents, macadamia nuts, and even a coconut plant (a full size coconut with a 2 foot stem growing from it!)

Day 7

... bus transfers back and arrived back at the UNit about 5pm. We then went for a swim in the Resort Pool and a SPA.

The pool was refreshing however that was undone by the Spa Pool which we left like lobsters because of the heat of the Spa. Boy! Are they hot over here. In OZ they are about 36 degrees whereas here about 40. It great.

The rest of the day was spent inside recuperating and reading. Plus the odd drink of Rum.

... to tell me how much nicer New Zealand was than Australia (but we all know that any way) and that the highlight of her trip had been the Rotorua Agrodome.

Also the people we have meet from the Eastern side of the US are surprised that it has taken us less time to get then it did for them.

Not dolphins or whales yet, and no I wasn't allowed to help change the bus ...

Diving Maui

... We did not quite make it to our accommodation as got waylaid by a $5 mexican lunch offer, neither of us can get enough of Mexican food and 'Maui Tacos'' was delicious and heaps of food for us, next stop was at the entertainment kiosk to see what was on offer especially diving which we were keen to do early so we can a) fly back and b) go up into the mountains - both need at least 24 hours after a dive. We got that all sorted for tomorrow and headed out to Days Inn ...
