      ... December (otherwise they are eaten by predators etc) and then rears the baby turtles for 8 months, feeding them every 2 hours from dawn to dusk until they can be released. We gave a donation and took some photos of the super cute turtles. After a brief sit/lie under a shelter watching a sudden but short rainstorm, we took the boat back to Gili Air.

      Our flight to Laban Bajo was on a very small propeller aeroplane. We don't think we have ever been on a plane as small as this, maybe 25 rows of 4. It did however look fairly new which made us feel a lot more comfortable. So far it seems the smaller the plane the scarier the landing and this one did not change our thoughts, our hearts nearly jumped out our chests as we touched down in Laban Bajo but all went without a hitch.
