... 8216;walk’ the furthest. We enjoyed the sunset, as always, but it wasn’t spectacular and we were getting cold and hungry, so we didn’t stay too late. We found a place just opposite a very quiet night market for a bite to eat. But unfortunately whilst looking through the menu my stomach took another turn for the worse, so instead of risking eating in, Amelia and I left Becci and Beth to enjoy their dinners, and we took our food as takeaway and back with us to ...

We are already sad to leave the Gili's but we only have 10 days left to adventure down here so we must move on. ... bumpier than the boat!). There are no cars or scooters on the island so this is the only form of transport apart from pedal bikes. This makes it so peaceful. We arrived at Sejuk and were massively impressed - there are a few cottages in peaceful pretty gardens, with a pool. The cottage itself is big with a rooftop covered den (with cushions and incense), large open air bathroom (and the shower has actual reliable hot water!!) and two double beds with mosquito nets. Lovely. ...

... Olivia had met some people who had stayed at 7 Seas Backpackers so we decided to go there. It was only a short walk from the harbour which was good as there are no cars or scooters on Gili Air (peace at last)! The only problem was that the hostel is in the middle of refurbishing so there was only one double bed available. We were tired at this point and just wanted to lie on the beach so we decided to take it. Three in a bed for one night wasn't the end of the world! ...
