      ... December (otherwise they are eaten by predators etc) and then rears the baby turtles for 8 months, feeding them every 2 hours from dawn to dusk until they can be released. We gave a donation and took some photos of the super cute turtles. After a brief sit/lie under a shelter watching a sudden but short rainstorm, we took the boat back to Gili Air.

      ... directly across the road where we joined a room of other Aussies Keen to watch. Someone in the cities even organised a tipping comp for winning margin, Norm Smith and first goal.
