          ... and caught a bus to Leh. We climbed Stok Kangri (20,320 ft) and rested up for the big adventure to come.

          We trekked back through Zanskar for 3 more week, first going from Hemis Gompa to Padum via Zalung Karpo La and some difficult crossings of the Khurna River. After visiting our Karsha family we then crossed over the Kang La to the Miyar Glacier and descended to the town of Udaipur.
