The ranch itself was a great experience, there were cows wandering the car park and ranch hands enjoying a cool drink in the shade after a hote days work.

The campfire and sunset horse ride were both amazing.

I would recommend staying in a cabin instead of a tipi though.

We had a great, relaxing and adventurous time during the four days we spent at the Grand Canyon Ranch in Meadview, Arizona. The ranch is situated just south of the southern portion of the Grand Canyon. The area between it and the canyon is owned by the Hualapai Nation. They own and sell tickets to the Skywalk and other attractions.

We drove out of Death Valley towards our next stop of the road trip. Grand Canyon Ranch in Meadview. On the way we planned on stopping in at Hoover Dam as we had missed it on the last trip to Las Vegas,

We drove unknowingly across the state line from California to Nevada and figured out that we had …

We had to get up very early for our trip to the Grand Canyon today. It was up at 4.45, to be out the door at 5.30 for our pickup.we were then taken to a depot where we were then put on busses for the trip to the Hoover Dam. After a short stop there, where we got to walk on the new bridge near the Hoover Dam where we could get an amazing view of the …

We arrived back at the lodge and drowned the desert dust in the pool and refreshed our aching limbs with sumptuous room service, including a bottle of the best Californian C******nay....ever.

Took the old road - Route 66 - for the last few miles into Kingman which has quite a few old buildings and many reminders of when it was on America's 'mother ...
