    ... we agreed and finally got to the bus station. This overcharging seems to be rife, especially in places where people have few other choices of transport.
    Anyway, moving on, we got to the other bus station that services the Southern areas of Thailand and started inquiring about tickets to Phuket with the view of ravelling in a few days. In the spur of the moment, we ended up buying tickets for a bus that left in 20 minutes time. Bye Bangkok!
