... uns über die Feuchtgebiete. Die Landschaft war wirklich beeindruckend.

Weiter ging es zum East Point Leuchtturm. Dieser gehört zu den ältesten Leuchttürmen von P.E.I. und ist der noch einzige 'bemannte'. Ausserdem steht er am nördlichsten Punkt der Insel.

Vor dem Leuchtturm haben wir auch unseren ersten Fuchs gesehen! Fotogen war er dazu auch noch!

Montague war unser heutiges Endziel. Morgen verlassen wir die Insel und nehmen die Fähre nach Nova Scotia.

8:30 breakfast at this B&B (Deep Water Inn on SE coast) so we were able to ‘sleep in’ half an hour later than usual. After mulling over our plans, we decided to stay at this location one more day. We're taking a down day today as we wait for Kyle to track onshore and make its way thru the Maritimes. We're sitting comfortably in Montague on the very east coast of PEI. ... half, and has what are taken to be many false endings. Still there's no denying that an epic hasbeen pulled off here. The lights come up and it's flowers all around. Mike makes me immensely proud yet again. But there's no way I'm going to survive the afterparty. I'll be happy just to make it back to Charlottetown safely.
