26 years ago today, we were preparing for the arrival of our ‘first born‘. Oh the roads we have travelled since then! Today our little girl turns 26. Started our day by texting our girl with birthday wishes - wishing we could share the day with her and celebrate her ‘being’.
The skies were overcast but the temperature warm and, hoping for the best, we drove to Montague (east side of PEI) to access the trail there. We ...

8:30 breakfast at this B&B (Deep Water Inn on SE coast) so we were able to ‘sleep in’ half an hour later than usual. After mulling over our plans, we decided to stay at this location one more day. The weather was great and we thought we’d to do some cycling - one part of the Confederation Trail was not too far from the B&B.
Our breakfast consisted of something that we have not had on our ...

After a wonderful breakfast (of course) and a lively conversation with our 6 other B&Bers from Indiana and Ontario - (a bit of politics, but avoided religion J ) - we were on our way to Tatamagouche. When you look at the map, it seems like you have such a distance to travel , but in reality, you arrive at your destination very quickly. Our first stop was at the information centre, which was closed for the season, so instead, we picked the brains of ...
More beauty we ever imagined is seen as we travel the scenic East Coastal Drive of P.E.I.
There are endless Harbors,Bays,Beaches and View Points on the way; all so captivating with beauty!
Our pictures can only scratch the surface of what I'm attempting to relate.

New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Canada mckelsos... other place??) just before 5 pm. Not a bad day's drive considering we started from Bridgewater at 9 am and stopped a few times along the way. All in all, 488 km or 305 miles. If you've made it this far, good on ya! Now let me tell you about the Comfort Inns and their staff. They're GREAT. All of the front counter staff have been pleasant, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile - they even call after we've got into the room just to make sure ...
New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Canada coventry_kidWe're taking a down day today as we wait for Kyle to track onshore and make its way thru the Maritimes. We're sitting comfortably in Montague on the very east coast of PEI. The potential track of Kyle takes him off to the west of us and we're only expected to get a little wet overnight. Enough about Kyle. We just finished three incrediable days of golfing on the 8th, 35th and 100th best golf courses in Canada ( according to golf Magazine but not ...
Montague, Prince Edward Island, Canada rickanddonna... half, and has what are taken to be many false endings. Still there's no denying that an epic hasbeen pulled off here. The lights come up and it's flowers all around. Mike makes me immensely proud yet again. But there's no way I'm going to survive the afterparty. I'll be happy just to make it back to Charlottetown safely. So after a few minutes of visiting I'm off into the night. Found out later from Christopher that the afterparty went til 3am. Dayum!
