    ... about doing a lot more. Maybe I could get to 100 and Port Macquarie tonight? As time passed, the wind and resulting struggling stayed. I started to get a bit of cramp in one of my feet foot and a stiff shoulder, and it Walsall getting a bit uncomfortable. I made the decision to stop earlier than planned and to quit whilst ahead. I don't want to injure myself and out the trip on hold just yet! I spot some enticing signs to "Rosie's cafe", and crawl along the last few roads ...

    ... have painted the rocks along the front and there are lots of messages, vision statements, memorials etc many very artistically done and have become a feature of the place. If we were here longer we would have got some paint and had a go, but we did what we could with a biro. We were excited that we were the only ones in our dorm and hoped it would stay that way. We planned a small lie in but were woken before the alarm by the sound of wind ...

    ... Addictive Pie Shop. These pies are highly rated we were told. Gotta have one we said.

    A steep drive up to the Middle Brother National Park. 500m above sea level, and didn't the ears know it. We took in the views from the Laurieton and Jonstone Lookouts. Awesome views.

    Next it was onto some dusty roads to the Bago Winery and Hedge Maze. Some wine tasting and the challenge of the Maze. Dave's not really good at these, but he made it out alive! The two boys, Aiden ...

    ... who wish to simply fly in with your own plan/helicopter. The accommodation is immaculate, completed in December '12 and has every mod con the discerning passer by could ever dream of. Balconies to laze about on overlooking their own private lake and waterway. Fully self contained kitchen equipped with dishwasher, coffee machine and every other necessary electrical device known to man. This place made the Crown plaza look sloppy!

    ... of Port Macquarie harbour. Where we stopped for some fresh fruit and a mooch around. Then it was time to take the kayaks back and get changed to go shopping before we headed to Shelly Beach.
