This was my second time in Phi Phi, so I had a lot more knowledge into where to stay and avoid. This time round I was actually planning on staying for a couple of months and knew many workers stayed at Flower as they offer monthly packages for farangs working on the island. The dorm is a bit cramped but the toilets and showers are very clean considering! I stayed in a hut as I like my privacy and it was lovely, cosy, lots of spiders though which is inevitable! When I go back to work there throughout the Christmas season next year I will without a doubt stay here again.

Stopover in Krabi

... worked out quite well. I was told that the hotel would have to call a cab for me that I had already paid for, but my guesthouse’s reception guy didn’t speak enough English to know what I was talking about. So I walked over to another guesthouse next door and talked to a guy there who spoke perfect English. He told me he would help me out, but I had to watch his baby boy while he was on the phone with the taxi service. My first reaction was "sure that ...
