... get him back, because I think I can be a worse drunk. Hee hee. But dinner was grand and I definitely recommend something like this. Home at last , Stefano decided to go for another moonlit walk. Arrrrrrrg he wouldn't stay home, so I thought bugger you , go off and wake up castle or get squished on the blind corner roads. I stayed home and waited for a thud sound, but it didn't happen. One of my favourite things in Florence for sure. We also did a bit of shopping in Florence. I swear once mum and I started we had the shopping bug, though mum definitely bought more. Mum has the great fortune of ...

... one of the few places open for dessert and wine. Apparently it is not common or accepted to go to a restaurant just for dessert. Our waiter talked to the manager and received his approval, but he was still none too happy. Oh well. We had our chocolate cake, a glass of wine, paid our €15, apologized again and said we will return tomorrow.

P.S. We have no plans to return tomorrow. We are going to Castello di Verrazzano, and then to ...
