Add in winery tours, light displays, and fun attractions (e.g. Hollywood Wax Museum) and this town becomes a must do if you are visiting central USA.       ... where it was all 2 lane. Out of the mountains, we drive on and on the flats. We got into Guymon at 7:30 local time, over 10 hours of driving. October 13, Monday We left Guymon around 9:30am where the wind made driving a little difficult. We got to Enid, then it rained on us off and on the whole way home.  It was a long day because of the weather.   We got home around 6:30pm with the wind still blowing and it was quite cool... Home sweet ...

      ... long on the road, we saw some pronghorn, even some babies.  Then I saw a pheasant in a field.  Another field was full of cattle... We stopped at Painted desert/petrified forest national park. We saw 2 coyotes and a model A that sat where route 66 used to be.   We also saw some pictographs and an village of ancient natives. This was very interesting. We drove on into the petrified forest and saw the trees that had turned unto rocks. We stayed ...

      Little Naomi Elizabeth Istre was born October 4th, 2014 at 8 pounds 7 ounces. She is a beautiful, sweet, healthy baby, and a wonderful blessing from God!
