Ruta 6, Km. 42, Canuelas Province of Buenos Aires, Central Argentina, Argentina
¡Hola!,
I just took an awesome trip to Tigre with Buenos Aires For You. We rode the beautiful Train de la Costa up the coast to the town of San Isidro, passing by the President's house and the huge Riverplate Stadium. After we took a tour through San Isidro, we rode a bus to Tigre, a really nice town outside ...
Og havde endnu to i dag.
... i mit kvarter igaar - "Mercado San Telmo". - I'm in love!
... Malbec to compensate!
So I started in Buenos Aires and although I resisted clubbing for the first week, you can see from my fb pics that I was unable to resist the 2nd week. I took Spanish lessons and wandered round BsAs in the first week, a great city with a very European feel to it, as does the rest of Argentina, then went up to Puerto Iguazu over the weekend to see the waterfalls, it`s right at the top of Argentina on the border with Paraguay and ...
... in the second to last row down the back of the plane, we heard the nazel tones of the first ever kiwi that Kaz disliked. She was from Picton... and 13 hours after we took off, it´s fair to say we knew EVERYTHING about her life, including her dog being microchipped, her lost passport, the sailing club her son competes in, star dancing (WTF????) the jockey club, the statement 'and to cut a long story short', her extensive travelling experience, even ...
Buenos Aires, Distrito Federal, Argentina christinekiwiUp at 5:45 AM for the early train to the Tigre Delta. For a tour, you'd think it'd be a little more luxurious, in terms of sleeping in, but this is as rough as my backpacking trips! Breakfast was skipped, and we piled into a bunch of taxis bound for the train station. Ranjit made an interesting observation - he told Wade and I that last night he had been casually gazing out their room's window (which happens to be on the opposite of the ...
Tigre, Argentina pwongI got up around 3am to catch the slow ferry back to Buenos Aires for 3 hours cost only 610 UR. I got there around 8am. Ran to the Retiro Station to catch the train to Tigre. There are a lot of frequent trains to Tigre every 20 minutes. It costs only 2.20 ARS for return. I got to Tigre. Very bigger city than I thought. I got the local boat to the Tres Bocas to visit some of the Delta ...
Tigre, Argentina canadiansmiley... a noisy engine. The driver was amazingly skilled at stopping and turning in very narrow canals, and you could pretty much be dropped off at any dock you liked en route. After more than an hour we were one of the last groups to get off on the Rama Negra (black branch) and it was a short walk to our cottage. What a gem. Two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a deck, a huge yard, a dock, and the all-important parrilla. Blair and I tried ...
