... movement during dinner, I heard the crash of crockery and glass falling to the floor and gasps from certain diners. Nothing fell off our table. ... the plan is: A few days in Rome, recovering from jet lag and seeing the sites. Hopefully lighting will not strike Vatican Square when we visit. We pick up the motos on Sunday and head for the coast and an overnight ferry to Palermo on Monday. We will be riding Sicily, cross over to the mainland and then ride up the coast back to Rome. ... in this place, it's their own fault because there is food everywhere!!

A great day today and I really, really liked San Mateo and Burlingame Avenue. It's very much a "yuppy" place where on a nice hot day there would be tons of mothers with kids in strollers roaming around. Still, I really enjoyed the area because it was filled with so many different shops and a great place to walk around in. Now it's time for bed and see what tomorrow will bring. :)
