And so... the end is near...

... you think?" "Yeah, Hillary Duff, right?" Anyway. Finally I told her what had happened in the latest scene I had watched. She started giggling and stomping her feet. Apparently it's me that has missed out on new episodes. ACK! I can not wait to sit in front of the hulu screen for days just catching up on all my shows. And yes, my laziness is indeed astounding.

Alright, I suppose I should go do something.

Or I could just play solitaire on my iPhone for awhile. :)

... and things. Where I was staying it is a nice area with cobblestone and big square with fountains- the main one Plaza de la virgen with a fountain of Poiseidon. I made great friends here with the austrailan girls, a german, two dutch and a girl from norway and we went out together salsa dancing and also to the beach for the whole day following my arrival. For halloween it was quite a treat to see the whole city full of young kids dressed up. It was different ...

Not much to say

This town was really in the middle of nowhere. There was a huge windstorm and the town was super dead, except for a bunch of seniors at the bar down by the beach. We hung out there to use their internet and to watch an episode of Frasier in english. Not our most exciting day. We tried to rent mountain bikes at our resort but they had put them away for the winter... it was like 20 degrees out!

The days of ¨if¨

... maybe not basis? But it's more than a logistical nightmare; it's also a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. Each day goes something like this: Ready...? Ready...? It's going to be huge... Here it comes... Oh...never mind...But that was great guys, can you do it again tomorrow? Everyone comes to work in the morning with enough energy and excitement to get them through a huge day of regattas and the celebrations to ...

Things are getting interesting...

... last few days it has changed completely. I could have never imagined it looking like this, and during yesterday's races I was jumping and yelling with the rest of all the crazies. I went ahead and bet a cocktail on the Kiwis, so now I'm invested. And the people who have been doing this for decades even said that yesterday's race was the most incredible they've ever seen in the Cup. It was exciting and I ate it up. Miss you all...

Moving on in a whole different direction

... feel it may be in part because doing so often means facing a constant stream of critics and moral trials. Like it or not (and believe me I don't), these are the people that hold the keys to the bank, and getting what is needed is going to mean dealing with them in one way or another. I believe the compromises come in how people choose to do so. Aid organizations such as AGRA, and the smaller, grassroots operations too, have to use the corporations the ...

Turning Points

... barrio.) No, the tightness gripping at my chest was caused by the fact that for me, this familiarity with a place signals a different stage of a trip for me. Usually about the same time as this happens, I also realize that there is suddenly not enough time to do everything I want to do. This usually comes right after I feel like I'm ready to go home (some might call ...

Trip to Teruel

... higher over the sealevel than other cities...then I found it kinda cold when I got there. At least 10ş less than in Valencia. Teruel - famous trough the jamón de Teruel - tastes better than the Iberic Jamón (not as strong...) But I had Döner Kebab as I went to Teruel - I was really graving it - so I had to have it... I walked trough the city and realised that it was ...
