    ... as with cats like to perch up high so there were also some nests in the grass and other convenient places. I realised I had never seen seagull chicks before. totally unremarkable compared with other baby birds buy interesting none the less. We had some Kiwis staying with us in the small apartments so someone new to chat to over drinks and dinner. They were managing to drive vast distances and double back as they went places on a whim. Not quite how we are doing it. ...

    Along the way we found many Camino signs and pilgrims on the Primitivo which is the Camino we plan to walk next year. At this stage we will do that along with the EPW. It is only a 320km walk and along with the EPW at 600km will be perfect and we get a break between as we move between Austria and Spain

    ... long thin doughnuts) with 2 little cups of thick hot chocolate to dip the hot chocolate in. Then when we’d finished our Churros, we climbed the hill, looked over the town, the ocean, the coast, and the rest of Spain, then we climbed down, and drove to Segovia.

    Asturias was amazing, and I would give the whole region a 9 out of 10, because it has amazing views of everything, and I generally liked the region ...

    Apologies for the lack of updates, we ran out of internet credits and what we had left was used to check the weather, and from what you will see in the coming entries we were near fairly small villages therefore getting a top up was impossible.

    Found our way out way easier than our way in. Planned to drive the seaside route all the way to Luarca. Almost did but gave up for the last little bit and succumbed to the ease of the new motorway. Driving into Luarca is refreshing. You are back in time to a small fishing village, very unchanged.
