Day 48-51: Gili Trawangan - Party place
... we got lost on the bicycles we rented and ended up somewhere in the bush, totally dark, no lights and we had to use the lights on our phones but all we could see were cows everywhere and muddy pathways. Finally found some locals that were nice enough to bicycle with us to our hotel. Took like 1 and a half hour to get home, but usually takes just 10-15 minutes.

“ Warm, Welcoming, Delightful Stay ”

It is difficult to determine what we liked the most about Dream Village. Certainly the location was excellent, being located a few steps away from the ocean, with beach front access. The rooms and huts - we stayed in both - were very spacious and meticulously clean, and equipped with ample storage space and in room safes. The staff was extremely friendly and efficient, always smiling, welcoming, and willing to accommodate our needs. We stayed for eight days, and every day our room was completely cleaned, including floor washing, without us ever having had to request this service. The garden area was also very well kept and provided a lovely tropical setting to enjoy from the balcony, which all rooms had. If there was any suggestion for improvement, it would be that the breakfast included with the room have a bit more variety. Otherwise, all was excellent.
We would definitely stay at Dream Village again.
