    ... open until 6.00pm and we could buy a ticket for both now to save time. Off at express pace, we saw all levels of San Cristobal (much quicker than most visitors!) and then made our way to the massive El Morro Fortress.

    ... was the beach, baby, and it was time to throw on our birthday suits (just kidding) and relax in the hammocks with our favorite drink of choice (I'll take the Brahva beer for $1.20, por favor y gracias!!).     ... the same problem so we are either transporting some fabric eating moths or our do-it-ourselves laundry skills are not up to par. Steve´s not a fan of doing his own laundry and has coined the term ´toilet laundry.´

    ... while they were very thorough, we were surprised (and maybe a bit disappointed even) not to be subjected to the old 'random’ search of a black person. We flew American Airlines down to San Juan, Puerto Rico which is a country and a territory of the US. The weather in San Juan was a dry 32 degrees and we braced ourselves realising this was a taste of what’s to come.
