... to the ship. We are hoping to run into some of our friends but no luck. We have a drink anyway and look out at the "Marina". Exhausted, muddy, happy and ready to get out of our filthy clothes we head back to the ship. A shower sounds so good right now.
The next 2 days we are at sea on our way to Charleston, South Carolina which I hear is a charming city. We will be docked there for 12 hours and we're really looking forward to it.

Thursday (31) at noon we arrive in St Juan PR -- beautiful day - hot - take a free trolley ride through
the main part of the city.....shopping is terrible ugly tourist 'stuff'' - stopped at a Starbucks for the free wifi (75cents a minute on board) and a great latte!! The coffee on board is not to my taste --
Reminds us of a 'clean' Cuba!!

... us. Checking in to our cruise was such a delight after the horrors of airport check-ins. We passed through the duty free where the guy told us how to sneak a bottle of grog onto the boat (you're not supposed to bring your own on you see). So always ready to follow instructions we bought a bottle of Bombay Sapphire (gin) and snuck it on board. We couldn't get over the luxury or the size of the cruise ship.
