    The ride back to San Juan was relatively short and un-eventful. Before finding the new apartment we went to a grocery store for supplies. The price of food was incredibly high in the store, almost double what we pay in Cali. We were in a touristy area, but I was shocked to find items like lettuce costing over $4 a head. It made me wonder how people afforded to live there when a majority of Puerto Ricans barely made an average of $18,000 annually, living at ...
