Wildlife heaven
We drove to Donnelly River for a few days, to stay in a cabin in the middle of the woods. I'd been complaining about not seeing any kangaroos in the wild but as soon as we parked we saw loads of kangaroos, with joeys, and emus! ... to the fact that I would have to make adjustments to my sleeping position for the night. So,I turned the bedding upside down. The cabin was basic but had new beds and sofas. Amazing wildlife. Lovely scenery. Great verandah for feeding kangaroos and emus from. Lovely walks. It was great to switch off from the modern world.
