~ I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list. I have come back to Koh Phangan, and the beaches of Thong Nai Pan Yai . It's on the north eastern side away from the famous full moon party that this island is known for. Between the two sites I saw clown fish, sea slugs, a giant grouper just hanging out on the sand, trigger fish, prawns, and the coolest of all was swimming through a school of barracuda. Crazy things to try ...

The contrast between our lives and theirs is so prevalent in areas such as this; a picturesque island where wealth runs parallel with tourism, consequentially sacrificing interest in tradition and culture. The residents on this island live to survive everyday and when my eyes meet theirs, if only for a second, I can't help but think about how they perceive us. As we continued towards the hostel we had chosen (Our House), ...

... couldn't regulate his breathing properly so he kept panicking and going to the surface for a breath. We were both getting frustrated with ourselves and frustrated that we couldn't do it and the others were finding it so easy. I was determined to give it another go so I went back under and tried again. I panicked and came up to the surface. As I came up the instructor did to and asked me what happened and I explained my breathing went and I panicked, it was then that he ...
