It was nice not to be climbing but after a while the concentration on clambering over rocks and not slipping as well as the pain in my feet, started to really get to me. ... guide, was the best we've had in S.E.A., very knowledgeable and great company. The porters were incredible, carrying all our stuff for 3 days, over the most difficult terrain, setting up camp at night and cooking us the most delicious meals.

All of the above would have made for an excellent trip and we have great memories of it all.

... two big baskets either end full of food, water, tents etc balanced on his shoulders. I tried picking one of these up and there is no way I could lift it high enough let alone carry it for hours on end. ... rushed onto a ferry by 2 indonesians who made us get on the back of their mopeds so we didnt miss it!!! Terrifying but fun.
Since then, we have been in Sengigi on Lombok, unfortunately Tiggy has been pretty ill so hasnt done anything at all so far!! Susie has been keeping herself as busy as possible but its hard.. We hope to leave for the Gilis tomorrow if Tiggy is feeling well enough.
