In a couple of hours we'll be leaving Holland to begin the first leg of our journey. A few nights of waking up to ...

Joe, Butch, Jane and I finished loading up Sparkie and headed off to make the 11:00am bridge in South Haven. A little chilly but mostly gorgeous day. The ride up the channel was smooth. No boats, no traffic. Peaceful! The less than hour drive to Saugatuck ...

... 36 that went to Rte. 23N to I75N. No wonder there was an additional 2 hours added on to the trip! Not really wanting to drive any longer than we had to, we opted to go with the truck GPS. All in all, not a bad trip. I just didn't expect to ever intentionally go to Michigan.
