Car hire for 3 days over
... of a vineyard area.......so much more to this story but not enough room. Drove back inland today, small winding roads into tiny towns, no one else on the road thank goodness, went through forest areas, olive tree areas, more walled towns, forts, vineyards. Saw landslide affected area from floods of 5 days ago, roads closed. Ended up at orvieto, dropped car off heading towards amalfi coast tomorrow. Oh no iPad s full so can,t upload any photos. ...
Leaving Assisi
... least Paul did. Rosanne is far more self restraintful by nature. Rosanne has just told me that she loves living more simply, living a less cluttered life. Maybe that's another impact of Assisi on us. 34 years ago I took some of Assisi back to Tasmania with me and it has never left my heart. I feel that this time the same will happen. We leave with part of Assisi inside us and we leave part of ourselves ...

The festival itself was small so my friends and I explored the corridors of the city for a couple hours.

Chocolate Festival? Sign me up!!!
... a sight it was! Stall after stall after stall of chocolate! And the smell! It was divine!
We found out it was possible to buy a "Chocolate card" for 5 euros which enabled you to get free samples at certain stalls. This included Lindt and Milka! We were also able to get a free phone case (which looks like a bar of chocolate!) from a stall called iChoc. Here, it was also possible to buy laptop covers, memory sticks, lamps, all in the shape ...
