Ah, Albany, we do love you!
Another bright sunshiney day dawned, with our itinerary for today including the Gap and Natural Bridge, then WhaleWorld in Frenchmans Bay. The Gap is a sheer drop of 25 m between two rock faces, and water rushes in like at the Kiama blowhole. The water wasn't really rough today, but it was still spectacular. Bit dodgy the lack of fencing...Mac and I both walked right to the edge of the rockface around from the Gap, and then Mac actually walked right across the Natural Bridge, ...
Albany
... decided to go to the Bays, to the East of Albany and our first stop was Little Beach at Two Peoples Bay where we saw a new shade of sea blue that we called ‘Unbelievable Blue’. Before us was a pristine beach with fine, white sand, rounded boulders and ‘Unbelievable Blue’ sea. I had my fishing gear with me but the sea was pounding onto the cliff rocks ...

Farming in Albany!

Nach einer Woche wechselten wir dann die Farm, da wir dort mehr Geld/Stunden arbeiten können.
Eine Kartoffel/Schaaf Farm. Dreckig, staubig und Laaaaaangweilig J Entweder sind wir hinter nem Traktor auf einer Erntemaschine, welche die Kartoffeln ausgräbt und dann auf ein Förderband schleudert, zusammen mit Erdklumpen, Steinen…. Diese und die Faulen Kartoffeln ...

... ettei se mene kerralla läpi, mutta me kyllä tiesimme kuinka hyvän auton olemme ostaneet. Mindi meni tarkastuksesta läpi heti kerrasta ja ilman pienintäkään moitetta! Ikävä kyllä viikonlopppu tekee taas tuloaan ja paperitöitä ei saatu tänään valmiiksi, koska pääkallopaikalla Perthissä on sumaa perjantai-iltapäivisin. Vietämme siis viikonlopun täällä Albanyssa, hoidamme paperisodan loppuun maanantaina ja jatkamme sitten matkaa Perthiin rannikkoa
pitkin.
