... the Dehesa - which is a good thing, as it turns out that the remainder of the road has obviously been closed for some months! Not as a result of the rain, but there's a major drainage scheme being built, which has resulted in what used to be a decent track being turned into a pile of mud. So it takes over half an hour of gentle uphill walking to reach the Dehesa.

... There are several pretty hilltop (mountainside?) villages that can be seen from the secondary highways. Even in areas that don't appear to be friendly for construction, you can see beautiful villas.
