    ... grab the buns and eat them at the bus station.

    Was about 1.5 hours to Las Lenas, a scenic route after we
    got off the highway and a promising start weather-wise, with a nice sunrise and
    blu skies above the cloud hugging some snowy peaks. Unfortunately it never
    lifted in Las Lenas and there was an icy breeze too.

    That’s my excuse for not hanging out on the sloped for long ...

    ... abgebaut wird. Als Belohnung für den Umweg erblickte er an der Laguna Nueva Flamingos! Somit entschieden wir, an der Lagune eine Nacht zu verbringen, um die unerwartete Überraschung zu geniessen. Nach weiteren 850km und einem schönen Ruhetag am Rio Negro inkl. Birchermüesli ;), erblickten wir in der Abenddämmerung das weite Meer und Puerto Madryn. Endlich mal wieder viiiiel Wasser!

    Another travel day, this time a 5 hr bus ride to malargue. Booked a strange minibus type thing, but it worked out ok. Only problem was watching the guy try and squeeze all the luggage in the back. Katy much better today, so the journey went ok, stunning views of all kinds of landscapes along the way. The andes constantly to the west and desert lands and small towns everywhere else.

    ... and support vehicle were well ahead of me by now......or so I thought!! I was plodding along the road just looking at the scenery when the over a bridge was about 5 bikes and the lads. Andy's Harley had broken down. As I had an electrical tester I leant it to them and went off to view the scenery from the bridge. The river was about 100ft below in a wonderful natural cutting. It was just beautiful to say the least. I found a wonderful overhanging rock and sat on it ...

    ... to hitch a ride the rest of the way however long that took and I'd need to head back to Bardas Blancas to see if I could find some gas. As we were talking a truck emerged from behind us. Turns out a group of road workers were just getting under way from a station near where we on the side of the road.
