We reached the wooden police station, and I was taken inside. I was made to go to the office of a large woman. I started to feel very uncomfortable, due to the claustrophobic feeling that accompanies being held somewhere against my will, and also due to the heat caused by a warm furnace. So.... alarm went off at 6 and I managed to get myself up and showered by tent taking down lesson. All in all... by 7.15 I'd had a shower, packed my stuff, taken down a tent AND had breakfast. I am now officially a morning person

The final leg
So our first full day on our GAP tour and it was basically all spent on the truck. As we missed the meeting(again!!) we had to sit with the guides for our talk ha ha. It was quite good though as it meant we got to the front and had the seats with a table! The scenery was stunning. We went through plantations of Rooibos tea, valleys of citrus plantations and through dry, remote portions of South Africa where it looked like no one lived – crazy considering it's not that far ...
