Further up the road we came across the "Avenue of the Giants" which was a 60 kilometre drive through some of the tallest Redwood trees in the world. Once on this windy road, surrounded by these beautiful trees, we became one with the road and literally experienced each curve along the way. The air, the shade from the sun, the unbelievable fresh smell of these evergreens, and of course the sights, all led to mostly silence by us both. Although, two words I heard spoken by Deena ...

... having a lot of fun with Vivi. She has something new for us each day. We look forward to Christmas morning with her! It will be the next highlight. When I think about leaving her my heart skips a beat. I have been preparing myself since before you know it that day will be here. It is with mixed feelings that we miss home so much after all the joy we have had with our sons families! The ...
