I was so surprised at how much wine we were given, it was a sample from nearly every wine each vineyard produced, a minimum of 6 different wines each time. ... to walk in compressed sand (from 4WD tracks) where we could. It was getting quite hot and we had a break at around midday (the 14km mark) for lunch (parmesan cheese and crackers). We saw our first monitor lizard and plenty of crabs on the northern sections of Deepdene beach. There were plenty of 4WD and Dirt Bikes along this last section before Deepdene Beach campsite.

... Giants' caves that we had heard were the least touristy of the many spots you could choose from. It took about an hour to get through to a depth of about 30 stories down. We were the only ones down there and we turned our flashlights off and man oh man was it ever black! We had ladders to climb, ropes to use and a rock climb and even though it was nice and cool we were sweating! It was really great! ...
