The day started with great uncertanity about what to do. School was a hard slog with lacking motivation. We asked at the Tourist Burea for the best places to do some gournet food tasting. Well, we went for a drive through this stunning region and enjoyed * nougart tasting, * chocolate tasting, * nuts tasting, * cheese tasting and finsihed with some wine tasting for Mum&Dad. ... just don't stack up against the SA equivalent. We tried really hard to find something as good as SA but falied ... Hic!

We stayed here for 6 days, with plenty of things to do to pass the time. Apart from visiting wineries ourselves we did a winery bus tour, which was good value, visited the surfing beaches such as Gracetown, Yallingup and caught up on the Melbourne Cup. Oh well, theres always next year to pick ...

... is where the rock that grows from the top and bottom of the cave joins together forming a column, the water then erodes the underneath and it breaks away, leaving a column hanging in the air with a big gap underneath - very cool to see! Whilst you are in the cave, they also turn off all the lighting and show you what it would have been like for the first people that discovered the cave. You literally could not see your hand in front of your face. Very very eery. ...
