There is also a bamboo forested area that is done in a Japanese style. My two favorite "rooms" were the "Three Pools" room and the "Mermaid" room. Both featured long, narrow spaces with unique water features and both have a peaceful, calm feeling inside the ...

We continued on to the end of the Kokee road. Many guidebooks will recommend stopping at the Kalalau lookout, implying that it may be the end of the line, but we continued on to the Kalalau Valley lookout, which is where the road ends, approximately 19 miles from where the road begins in Waimea. On our way back to the condo, we stopped at Poipu Beach Park. We got the snorkel equipment on and went to explore the rock reef at the beach. We seen a lot of fish, many bigger than we have before. We finished snorkeling and headed back to the condo.

We spent an hour in the pool before retiring back to the condo for dinner.

... coming out, so we did a few long walks during the day, first along Poipu Beach and then along the ocean front road east of our condo. For dinner we seared ahi on the gas grills attached to the condo units. It paired nicely with fresh asparagus, fresh pineapple, and a decidedly mediocre white wine.
