    ... shore that we wanted to see, which is the Lighthouse at Kilauea Point. We turned left off the Kuhio Highway at Kilauea and headed north towards the point, which is on a rocky peninsula cliff within a Wildlife Refuge. The views are beautiful and the birds soaring around the water and perched on the cliffs are unique to the islands. We enjoyed the views for a bit, before getting back in the car and heading south.
