The road trip gave me many memories to cherish, but this one, where I came close to what the little prince experienced everyday in his little planet B612 will always be a special one. ... is not flat. Sandi and Linda spring into emergency action to find a truck tire repair place. Closest one is in Billings, Montana. About 50 miles from where we are. Hope we can make it before the tire goes flat. We made it to the repair facility. They were waiting for us. The tire technician pulls out the screw and checks the tire for leaks. ... left Sheridan, which was quite a relief, as the temp had climbed to 88 F. Entered Montana in pouring  rain. Spent a fascinating 2 hours at Little Big Horn Battlefield. Had dinner @ the Indian Trading Post, outside the national park, and we're camped in a private ranch camping ground at Garryowen, 7 miles from Little Big Horn. ... on the hill top, and deer seemed to be everywhere. I continued to bump along the rocky, dirt road in search of my bison. All I saw were more deer. Eventually I came to a large herd of buffalo, but they were not very close either. I sat watching them in the distance, then continued onward.
