... is not flat. Sandi and Linda spring into emergency action to find a truck tire repair place. Closest one is in Billings, Montana. About 50 miles from where we are. Hope we can make it before the tire goes flat. We made it to the repair facility. They were waiting for us. The tire technician pulls out the screw and checks the tire for leaks. ... left Sheridan, which was quite a relief, as the temp had climbed to 88 F. Entered Montana in pouring  rain. Spent a fascinating 2 hours at Little Big Horn Battlefield. Had dinner @ the Indian Trading Post, outside the national park, and we're camped in a private ranch camping ground at Garryowen, 7 miles from Little Big Horn. ... quickly at the Visitor's Center to use the bathroom, but the building was locked. Hmmm…guess I would have to wait. The sign said the drive was only about 20 minutes. I first drove the West Loop and saw one lonely bison. I then started on the winter trail, as parts of the regular loop were closed (it wound around a very steep mountain).
